STEAM education is being integrated into elementary schools as a way to engage more students in creativity, hands-on learning, and problem-based learning also referred Challenge-Based-Learning (CBL). This article focuses on educators’ curriculum design for presenting with open-ended questions phrased challenge raise student interest achievement (DeJarnette, 2018; Hunter-Doniger, 2018). When received challenges solve, they felt open sharing their ideas since there was than one potential right answer Drake, 2012). implementing CBL, teachers act facilitators using constructivist approach work small groups design, test, iterate prototypes of solutions Driscoll, 2005). highlights the impact CBL engagement Lab or Makerspace.
